The Challenge

With more than 230 establishments under the Young’s Pubs brand, the central social channels are the online voice of Young’s. Kitch deliver community management with the aim to continue the conversation outside the pub and grow an engaged audience.

Our Approach

Our team work in partnership with the Young’s Pubs digital team to optimise their social strategy and tell the brand story, providing quarterly campaign recommendations.

Community management is how we connect with Young’s Pubs’ customers. We create conversations with followers, have fun and deliver excellent customer service 7 days per week from 9am – 9pm. From personalised voice notes and pub banter to taking online complaints offline, the customer journey reflects the brand at every touchpoint. Our daily engagement strategy ensures the central brand celebrates customers posting about their local pubs, aiming to surprise and delight customers with ad-hoc treats.

Social scheduling and live posting is managed by Kitch to maximum exposure and platform functionality. While Young’s in-house team creates the content, our team ensures all engagement is acknowledged and responded to. We identify KPI metrics, implementing relevant reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

RESULTS

The brand’s annual social targets were exceeded on all accounts, with total engagement increasing by 169.8%. The social strategy delivered a reach of over 14.5 million, 21.3 million impressions and 30.1% growth in total followers.
