The Challenge

We were tasked with growing the Panasonic Kitchen community and creating an engaged audience on Facebook and Instagram. The key focuses for the Community Kitchen Project were to identify core channels, develop brand advocates, and maintain Panasonic’s positioning as the UK’s favourite Microwave and Breadmaker brand.

Our Approach

During the 6-month campaign period we curated 28 Reels for social content, showcasing inspirational recipes and innovative ways to use the Panasonic Combination Microwave Oven and Breadmaker. This was supported by an engagement strategy designed to create positive brand encounters and encourage Panasonic fans to share user-generated content.

Influencer marketing played a significant role, we partnered with 5 trusted influencers to develop content for trending recipes and seasonal themes. Each creator’s audience and values resonated with the Panasonic brand demographic.

We secured brand partnerships with Matthews Cotswold Flour, Pasta Evangelists and Pyrex UK to drive awareness amongst complimentary audiences. Follower growth was driven by exclusive giveaways hosted via collaborative posts on Instagram, partner Reels content and Facebook competitions.

The above activity was amplified with a paid social strategy, targeting key follower demographics to drive engagement.

RESULTS

Not only did we exceed the project targets on all counts, the campaign was awarded Best Social Media Campaign by the 2023 UK Agency Awards.

In 6 months, we delivered a total of 49.7K engagements, 6.57M impressions and 6.9K new followers.
