The Challenge

Quite the catch, Harry Ramsden’s asked us to elevate their social strategy and launch the iconic British brand on TikTok. It was time to showcase the brand’s fun side, with the aim to grow brand awareness and target a new, younger audience.

Our Approach

Harry Ramsden’s trusted our creative direction, allowing us to serve up playful and engaging videos that appeal to a younger audience. Our team built trend-led content, with Harry the Haddock – the brand’s mascot, taking centre stage.

Content days were held at flagship restaurants, including renowned seaside locations Bournemouth and Blackpool. We captured hero menu items and showcased the newly launched Fish & Chip Afternoon Tea. When sharing organic content, we appealed to the platform’s algorithm by using trending sounds and optimised posting times.

Finally, we delivered a dedicated TikTok ad strategy to further increase brand awareness, engagement and following on the new channel.

RESULTS

In just 4 months, Harry Ramsden’s TikTok following grew to 2.58k and generated over 758.7K video views. The channel attracted 11.7K engagements and an impressive engagement rate of 1.52%. Harry the Haddock’s dance moves were clearly a hit!
