The Challenge

Kitch were asked to launch Godiva’s Instagram channel to help grow brand awareness in the UK market.

Our Approach

We launched a social strategy to engage Godiva’s target customers across all channels, including the newly launched Instagram page. The content strategy was designed to showcase Godiva’s hero products, new collections and seasonal lines.

An influencer strategy was launched to drive footfall in stores and at the Godiva Cafe in Harrods. This included unique events to increase brand visibility online, including an ice cream parlour party to launch new soft serve flavours and a Wimbledon event to mark Godiva’s brand partnership with former world number one tennis player Caroline Wozniacki. We also forged a partnership with @LONDON for ongoing coverage, including a feature with Eurostar to showcase the chocolatier experience from London to Brussels.

Campaign content was boosted with paid ad budget to gain additional momentum around the brand.

RESULTS

Kitch handled the social accounts for over 3 years, delivering a 7,215% increase in Instagram followers, 945% growth in Facebook followers and 531% increase in Twitter followers.
